Ruth grew up playing sports and loves to lead an active lifestyle, including hiking, running, biking, swimming, and anything that gets her out of the house and into nature.
After having kids, she began practicing Yoga as a way to improve her mental health and well-being. She fell in love with mind/body movement and shortly after completing her 200-hour Yoga training began learning, practicing, and teaching Pilates.
She believes Pilates to be a powerful tool in promoting body awareness as well as mindfulness. If you train with Ruth or attend a group class you will find a focus on the mind/body connection. She also loves to help women feel strong, confident, and balanced in their bodies so they can do all the activities they love outside of Pilates.
When Ruth isn’t teaching, you will find her reading, writing children’s books, spending time with her husband and 3 sons, working on a DIY or home improvement project, or listening to music and playing her guitar.
Ruth is excited to work with you and is passionate about helping you improve your life, both mentally and physically.
