Meet Patrick!

Hi I am Patrick and I am the Fitness Director here at the Sports Academy.

I have been helping people reach their health and fitness goals for over 16 years and love what I do! I have the opportunity to travel both domestically and internationally to provide fitness education and instruction.

I specialize in; body shaping, mental conditioning, nutritional support and movement correction/rehab. I prefer the simple things in life, so my favorite thing to do when I'm not here at the club is just doing anything with my Family.

Meet Derrick!

Hello my name is Derrick Harper. I was born here in cache valley and enjoy living in this area. I like pretty much everything outdoors from hiking to flying. I've been working at sports academy for 3 years and still love coming to work everyday. I am NASM certified among with rip 60/rapid fit, insanity, P90X and also a few others. I grew up playing all the little sports but enjoyed soccer the most, I really didn't get serious into exercising until my early 20's and now I just enjoy lifting weights and going on long romantic hikes.

Meet Greg!

My name is Greg Panfiloff and I have been here at the Sports Academy for more than half my life. In my spare time I like to play with my 4 boys and spend time with my beautiful wife. I LOVE working out and I’m always down for some gambling. I drive a mini van. I believe anything below 90 degrees is too cold. I am a ORGANATERIAN but not a strict vegetarian. You can just call me the BFG (Big friendly Greg) and remember if you’re not working out with Greg then its not working out..

Meet Heather!

Heather Clayton is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and is also certified in Rapid Fit, Rip 60, Free Fit 360, ViPR, and foam rolling. "I'm here to help you achieve your fitness goals and I am passionate about supporting you along the way to living a healthier life!"

Meet Barbara!

I retired from the banking world after 32 years and took my life in a very different direction. I decided if there ever was a time in my life to pursue my dream of being an exercise instructor and personal trainer, now was the time.

I have been married to Gary B. Tidwell for nearly 47 years. He is my biggest support and fan.

I wanted to get into the fitness world because my father died of a massive stroke when he was only 58 years old. I decided at that time that even if the genetics were there I wanted to do everything I could to not suffer from the same disease. It has been a wondrous journey and I have learned so much and met so many special and inspirational people on the way. My goal is to inspire and encourage everyone to know that they are special and can do whatever they set their minds to do. I want to help others to achieve their health and fitness goals no matter their ability or age. Age is no barrier to what we can become.

Life is great! Let me show you your potential and greatness by allowing me to be your trainer!

Meet Cody!

Hey! My name is Cody and I am excited to be a part of the Sports Academy personal training team!

I have been training/coaching since I was 16 years old, so over 16 years now. Crazy how fast time flies! I basically grew up going to the gym. My stepdad has been in my life since I was very young and he runs a strength and conditioning business working with all levels of athletes. I grew up around that and as a junior in high school, I started assisting him with coaching, and fell in love with it.

Since then, I have continued to learn and grow. Gaining knowledge, acting on that knowledge, and putting myself in the right circumstances consistently has given me the experience that has helped me become the coach I am today. I believe that experience is priceless and I've done my best over the years to surround myself with the best coaches and mentors.

Each of us have a body and with that each of us are athletes. Whether competitively speaking or not. We are meant to be active. That is my belief and as a coach that is my purpose.

I specialize in helping athletes build activity into their life, making it consistent, fun, and beneficial to them individually. I want to help create athlete's that take responsibility for their own health and make the necessary changes in their life to do so.

I am here as the coach to help facilitate this process. I will help you build a strong, resilient, and athletic body, as well as a mind that doesn't rely on negative coping mechanisms to find happiness.

Through learning how to move better, overcoming imbalances in your body, and developing a program that helps you reach your goals is why I am here!

I am a big fan of exercising and spend a lot of my time doing it. I love the outdoors, hiking and moving. Basically any activity that requires exercise, I'm a fan of! I do it, not only for my body and how it feels physically, but also for the amazing benefits it has on my mind.

One of my biggest personal goals is to be the dad and future grandpa, maybe even great grandpa that can run around and play with the young ones. I'll be exercising till the day I die and I'll be smiling while I do it :)

Meet Caleb!

Hi my name is Caleb Sizemore, i’m originally from Loveland Colorado but have spent most of my life here in Cache Valley. My training approach as a trainer is to offer a sustainable approach to physical fitness, with flexible dieting and proper resistance training. Im not a fan of extreme diets or radical cardio sessions. Lets make the gym an experience you look forward to and enjoy as lifestyle instead of a burdensome chore.

Meet Mila!

Hi! I’m Mila Mauriello and I am so excited to train here! I love teaching people how to be comfortable in the gym and love their bodies through exercise. I specialize in women’s fitness and strength training. I would love to hear about your goals in the gym so I can help you achieve them! I am originally from Las Vegas and my passions are lifting weights, family, and business. Meet Clint!

Hi, my name is Clint. To help you reach your goals, I follow a comprehensive and holistic approach that addresses your individual history and needs. In addition to a lot of experience in general fitness, I've been able to help numerous clients resolve overuse injuries and become pain free. And I have been able to help clients prepare for a broad spectrum of specific events such as backpacking trips, sport performance, half-marathons, obstacle course racing, cycling, powerlifting competitions, and most recently, a grappling tournament.
My real specialty is two-fold; 1) I train hikers and hunters to be successful in the mountains and 2) I coach burned-out and over-trained athletes back to health and vitality. If you are preparing for a backcountry trip I can help you develop the attributes you need to have an epic experience in the mountains! And if you were a hard charging athlete that seems to have lost your 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears, I can help you rediscover your lost energy and drive.
I am active and adventurous with my wife Sarah, and Lulu, our lab-mix puppy. I love exercise, hiking, hunting, philosophy, and short-faced bears (Arctodus Simus).

Meet Jennifer!

Hi! My name is Jennifer. As an NASM Certified Trainer and emotional coach, I am so privileged to be part of the health and wellness team at The Sports Academy. I have always believed that prevention is crucial to wellness, but also believe in the body’s amazing ability to heal and repair itself under proper conditions.

Even though my background is in emotional healing, addiction recovery, and relationship coaching, I studied and loved fitness and nutrition so much that my husband lovingly called me a “Health Nut” and endured some creative meals that probably didn’t taste so great!

My passion is helping young moms improve body shape and stamina to have energy to keep up with the demands of raising children. As a mom of 6 grown children, I understand how consistent physical activity can alleviate some of the stress that mothers are faced with.

I also adore the aging population since I am becoming part of that group and am a grandmother of 10. Seniors who work with me will develop resilience, balance, and strength through physical activity to create safe, fun, and enjoyable daily life movement needed for gardening, shopping, walking, running, or even dancing if they so desire. I just won’t be teaching the dance part!

In my rare spare time, I love gourmet cooking, watercolor, and spending time in nature. As your personal coach I would be honored to support you in achieving a higher level of health and fitness.

Meet Angelina!

Hi, I’m Angelina and I am super excited to be a personal trainer at Sports Academy! I am originally from Massachusetts, but moved to Utah a few years ago for college where I obtained my bachelors degree in psychology at USU. I have been powerlifting for two years, and I am currently training for a bodybuilding show. My approach to training is to not only help my clients reach their specific goals, but to also optimize rest/recovery days, decrease overall stress the body may be experiencing, and educate clients about the importance of nutrition and exercise. The gym has always been a positive environment for me where I feel welcome, and I strive to make that happen for my clients as well!

Meet Cora!

Hey, I’m Cora Bisel! I am so excited to be a Trainer at Sports Academy. I am NASM Certified and I have a Bachelors in Kinesiology from USU. I grew up in a small town called Moses Lake, Washington. I love to play sports. In high school I played soccer, basketball, and tennis. Then, in college I picked up rugby. I also have a big passion for snow skiing and anything behind a boat. I enjoy teaching people how to incorporate the gym into their life whether they are starting back up or starting for the first time ever. I can’t wait to take the next step with you.
